Your trust, kept

How Clio handles your data

Last updated 8 July 2026 · Plain-language summary · Draft for legal review

We keep this short and honest. Clio collects as little as possible, never sells your data, and never puts our experts on public display. Here is exactly what happens.

The short version: we only hold what you send us in a form. We use it to respond to you. We don’t sell or share it with sponsors, and we don’t profile you. Everything is stored in the EU. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are

Clio is a brand of OLAS ApS, a company based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Company registration is currently in progress, and our CVR number will be published here once issued. For anything about your data, contact privacy@cliomediagroup.com (data & privacy) or contact@cliomediagroup.com (general).

What we collect, and why

Only what you give us when you fill in a form on this site — whether you’re a brand, an expert, or a partner:

  • Your name and work email, so we can reply.
  • Your role, company or field, and the message you write, so we can understand your enquiry or application.
  • An optional link or detail, if you choose to add one.

That is all. We don’t use advertising pixels, we don’t profile you, and we don’t buy data about you from anyone.

Our legal basis

We process your details based on your consent (the box you tick when you submit a form) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and considering applications. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

Who can see it, and where it lives

Only the Clio team. We never sell your data and never share it with sponsors or brands without your explicit, separate agreement. Expert and partner applications are stored securely in the European Union. We rely on a small number of trusted processors, who only handle data on our instructions:

  • Hosting & content delivery: Cloudflare (EU network)
  • Email delivery: Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France)
  • Secure storage: Supabase, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany)

Your data stays in the European Union — we do not transfer it outside the EU/EEA.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and application details only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or consider your application, and no longer than 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask us to: see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to our use of it. To do any of these, email privacy@cliomediagroup.com. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

Cookies & analytics

This site uses only strictly necessary cookies needed to stay secure and work. For traffic, we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that count visits in aggregate and never identify or profile you. There are no advertising or tracking cookies — so there is no consent banner to click through, because there is nothing to consent to. If we ever add optional analytics, we’ll ask you first.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.

Note for review: the CVR number will be added once OLAS ApS registration completes. This page is a clear-language draft and should be checked by a Danish data-protection lawyer or DPO before launch.
